Boilermaker Weld Clamp

The Boilermaker weld clamp kit features two innovative products from Walhonde Tools — the Wallbanger™ HD and the Boomer. This combination provides welders with reliable tools for different boiler applications.

The Boomer tool’s claw clamp allows it to grip tubes and reduce the need for chill rings and inserts in fit-ups. The Wallbanger™ HD, meanwhile, helps position the tubes accurately. When these two devices work together, welding becomes easier, more accurate and more convenient.

Boilermaker Weld Clamp Applications

The Boilermaker Weld Clamp kit blends the capabilities of the Boomer and the Wallbanger™ HD, which work best on the penthouse, reheat and superheat sections of the boiler. The addition of the Wallbanger™ HD tube clamp tool to the kit also expands the applications to include crossover, economizer, header and generating tubes.

Aside from boiler welding applications, the Boilermaker Weld Clamp kit is suitable for aligning waterwall panel tubes and other pipe-fitting applications.
