The orbital welding system BasicPlus consists of an orbital control unit and a standard Lorch TIG power source, model T. All machine types of this series (18 different models) have an “Orbital software on board”.

Smart. Intuitive. Versatile.
With just three inputs; pipe diameter, wall thickness, and weld head type, the system automatically generates a welding program, guided by intuitive, welding-specific icons.
Compatible with both Orbitalservice and third-party weld heads, the BasicPlus supports multiple engine control cards and allows real-time parameter adjustment.
